I have roamed the blog world and the news a little today and I get a small feeling that there is much crying, gnashing of teeth, and worrying over our new president and what he may do. I would tell all of these people that they should simply rest in the arms of the Father and be at peace. I know it sounds hokey but it is true.
All this election has done is reinforce to me that our battle is not a temporal one but a spiritual one and that we, through Yeshua the Messiah, have already won. There is not one thing that can happen in this world that will effect our eternal destiny. We have already been bought with the blood of our savior and the enemy is powerless in the face of it. I know that there are significant concerns about how things could play out, but I ask who is greater, the machine that is our government or the Holy One of Israel, the Author of our existence, and the Source of our power. I for one will stand with Jehovah and I am at peace.

Well said. The children and I have been talking about this very subject all morning.
Well said, brother. I saw quite some time back that this was more a spiritual war, once having heard the dark spiritual power in Obama's oratory. Our Lord has allowed Obama at the helm of your country for His own purposes. I'm thinking it may be to be a prophetic triggger, knowing Obama's disinterest in backing up Israel, and his avowed intentions to support the Muslims instead. It may well be that America's support needs to be withdrawn from Israel for the Lord's purposes to be fulfilled.
My ancestors survived the War and Reconstruction, the Great Depression, LBJ, and Clinton. We'll survive the Obamanation of Desolation.
Of course, I'd rather survive him while living the good life on a private island in the Bahamas.
Hey, I jumped to your blog from SCL, and your post is spot on. I think for all the crying and gnashing of teeth that may be going on, there's a lot of people who are realizing that it's all going to be okay, and we should not be worried. The world is going to do the same things it has always done, and it has nothing to do with the Kingdom work we are called to do.
Amazing how since the election of the Marxist that the stock markets and the economy and businesses have all decided that this is a bad time to be a capitalist. My Kinsman Redeemer is coming as my Deliverer so what is there really to worry about?
